Today I feel like someone having to make some grown up decisions but I have no idea how or what to do...

I have always heard people say that they question God and how he works. I have never been one of those people unitl today. I know he is in control and I trust him, I need to lay it all it His feet, He is always faithful!!!

This Weekend is the Water Ski Camp for our youth at church. I have to miss out due to "the illness". So sad, I hate being away from Michael. I am going up tomorrow just to hang out, but then coming home... oh well!!

I have to say I am loving this blogging thing. I have enjoyed reading so many blogs form people I havent heard from since I left Abilene. I miss that place...

2 YEARS!

Yesterday was our 2nd year annivarsary in Australia and today it was in America. We went to dinner at our favorite Thai place and then came home. Nothing to big cause I have been sick but I was determined to celebrate at least a little bit. I didnt get anything for Michael due to "the illness" but he got me a beautiful card which made me cry and pillowcases... 2nd year annivarsary is the cotton year. It was cute and made me smile. I love him so much!! To us!!

TOO MUCH TV

I have been in bed for 5 days... doctor says it a sinus infection, but I wasnt on strong enough meds the first few days, so he now has put me on stronger ones. I was wandering if we get a refund for the first visit and the first set of meds??? NOT!!

I am leading a bible study with some of our younger girls at church. Some are year 12 and some have just graduated. This has always been a dream of mine to have a menotr relationship with young women, and I believ this is now the time. When I first was approached to do the study I thought " oh man just another thing to add to my life" but when I thought and prayed about it, the Lord brought the desire back to me and within a few days I said YES!!! Tonight is the first...

God is so good, which I have always known but it seems like this year he just keeps reminding me that Australia is where he wants me. I am so blessed to have a husband who shares my passion for lost and hurting teens. A door has been opened for us to really reach out to these teens... Its called The Frog Crew... Ill explain more later.

I started and just finished my Interior Design Course. I am not sure what is to come now, so many options. I would love to work for myself but I am afraid I lack the experience, so mabe I should go get a job and go from there, I dunno we shall see. I am excited to see where things are headed!!

MAY 28th Kristin and Dave are coming to see us!! SO EXCITED!!!!!!

Spring has Sprung!!

The weather is getting warmer and warmer here and beautiful plants, trees, and flowers are blooming, but as I sit here at my desk sneezing my head off I dont think I appreciate the "things" outside today!

I woke up early this morning and went for a run (hence the sneezing), the plan is to do this for 2 weeks and hopefully it will become a habit... hmmm you think it will happen? You see it is magpie swooping time right now, and seeing how I got swooped last year at this time I am scared of those stupid birds! I think I have chosen a route that will be safe... hopefully. See so this time of year is wonderful but now I have a new phobia!! MAGPIES!!

Here is some info about these birds that I found when I first got swooped:

Being the target of a magpie’s ire is an inevitable part of growing up in Australia. Or is it? Certainly, when magpies pounce, they can do real damage. The Injury Surveillance Information System (ISIS) is a national collection of hospital emergency department attendance records. Their data shows that of 59 magpie attacks, the eye was the birds’ most common target.
Magpies seem to get particularly infuriated by bicycles: nearly half of those attacked were riding a bike at the time. But delving further into the ISIS data, we find that almost two thirds of the magpie victims were male, and half of all those attacked were aged between 10-30. Obviously magpies are selective!

When: Magpies begin breeding in July and this lasts through until the chicks fledge in February. Most attacks occur between August and November when the chicks are in the nest!
Where: NSW, VIC, eastern South Australia, south west WA, coastal ranges of Qld.

Other info: - Magpies are only aggressive for six weeks of the year, around August/September, when they have chicks in the nest.- Most magpies attack the same few individuals again and again, possibly because they remind the bird of someone who once hurt them.- Only the males attack (the females are too busy sitting on the eggs).Magpies are excellent mimics and can even imitate the human voice.

The large public problem and potential liability suits precipitated by magpie attacks have prompted avian researchers to take a fresh look at magpies, their behaviour and their social organisation, in the hope of finding clues on how to live more peacefully with these Australian icons.

OK so after over a year I am going to continue this blog... I promise I'll try!!

SO many changes have happened this year I can't believe it's October 2007. Michael's dream is finally starting to unravel and that is for him to one day have his own business, well he has it now. It's called Simple Spaces.

Now its my turn to get things going. I have an idea where I am heading and I know I dont want to be an administrator my whole life, especially at the church I go to... something has got to change! Can you tell things have been frustrating at work??? I am thinking Intereior Design... Hmm we shall see!!

Drew has been talking about mabe coming to Sydney for Bible College. As I pray for this to happen Im sure my parents are praying against it... at the same time we are all praying for the Lords will. I miss them!!!
